- The Zohar - is a collection of conversations of a group of rabbis who lived in the land of Israel about 2000 years ago. The Zohar, meaning radiance or splendor, was a combined work derived from Rav Shimon bar Yochai’s wisdom when it was shared in deep conversations with his friends. It comprises a commentary and exploration on scriptural and spiritual matters in the form of dialogues, stories and revelations. It explains the secrets of the Tanakh and the Hebrew/Aramaic language, the Universe, and many other aspects of life. The original language of the Zohar is Aramaic and is structured along the Parashah (Hebrew for ‘Portion’ that refers to a particular part of the Tanakh). It is considered the foundational literature for the mystical school of Kabbalah.

- The Tanakh - The word Tanakh derives from the three Hebrew words Torah (sometimes referred to as the five Books of Moses), Nevi’im (The Prophets) and Ketuvim (Writings) and is used to refer to the Israelite scriptures. They tell the story of a family called Israel, which originated from the children of a man whose name was Jacob before God named him Israel. Interestingly, the word ‘Isra’el’, usually written with the Hebrew letter ‘Shin’ appears in the Book of Amos written with the Hebrew letter ‘Zayin’, which makes the word Israel mean: The Seed of God. Accordingly, those people are presented in the scriptures with an obligation in the form of covenants to be the embodiment of the Peace of God to all nations and any person who is willing to find Peace.

- Qur'an - The Qur’an was revealed to Muhammad through the angel Gabriel and over a period of approximately 23 years beginning on 22 December 609 CE (when he was 40) and concluding the year of his death in 632 CE, Muhammad wrote down his revelations. The Qur’an deals with a variety of subjects, such as wisdom, law, economics and worship, while its main focus rests on the relationship between God (Allah) and human beings. A big part of the Qur’an tells the stories of creation, the flood, the people of Israel, prophet Musa’s (Moses’s) commandments and law, and prophet Isa’s (Yeshua's) life.
